View national funding formula allocations for schools: 2021 to 2022

Find out how much funding a school would receive if the national funding formula was followed locally. The figures presented are based on pupil numbers from 2019.

The government uses the national funding formula to decide how much funding to allocate for mainstream, state-funded schools in England.

This service does not tell you what funding a school will actually receive. Final funding allocations are decided by local authorities.

You can view national funding formula allocations for mainstream schools in England, including schools maintained by a local authority and academies.

The funding allocations are for 5 to 16 year olds.
